Nope. Really it is not safe to even connect to the internet without AV software.

Not a good idea. LimeWire is infested with spyware, viruses and all sorts of junk that you don’t want on your computer.

Download AVG Anti-Virus. It had a real time virus detector, that stops most viruses from getting on your computer.

1) There is about 10 virus or so that are looking for MacOS-X.
2) Limewire is a bad network, just avoid it.
3) If you want to download something and avoid fakes and viruses, try a torrent client like utorrent.
