I downloaded Vista OS X onto my computer, but i haven’t installed it yet. I found this site: http://www.vistaosx.net/download.htm
and it led me here: http://www.mediafire.com/?nzm0jelt2li
where i downloaded the program. i checked this site at: http://www.siteadvisor.com
and also scanned the download with Norton. it looks ok, but i don’t want it to give me viruses, or ruin my computer.
Has anyone here had any experience with this program and how it works, and if it is safe to use?
well elfageek, i bought my computer from asus, and it came with vista installed, so it better not be pirated.

never heard of vista os x. vista is from microsoft. os x is from mac/apple. combination of the both should not exist as one operating system. I would not install it mainly because the download did not come from a decent recognizable or commonly used site. most downloads of a program have the program’s name as the name of the file, not “nzm…”

It looks safe to me, but before you install it scan it with your virus softwear, if you don’t have any try AVG Free edition, it catches any accidental downloads i do.

I have to agree that there should be no such thing as Vista OS X. I wouldn’t D/L it much less install it.

This is a theme pack for Vista 32bit with SP1that makes Vista look like OS X.
You need a legal version of Vista FIRST. A pirated version of Vista won't work. In 30 days, it just stops working. Microsoft is watching.
If you want Vista, Buy a Home Premium Upgrade (<> $99).
Then, beware, you may trash Vista by installing this theme.
