Is Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 dependable, and worth the money?

i am having troubles choosing my anti virus software, and would appreciate some advice.
What if anything have you heard about Kaspersky 7.0?
What anti virus would you suggest if not Kaspersky?
Are the free anti virus programs beneficial or a waste of time?

Ohyeah.. It needs to be compatible with Windows Vista Sp1 32-bit

Yes, Kaspersky is a very good antivirus suite.
However, before you spend money on a suite, take a look at whoever your ISP is, as they may give you an antivirus suite for free.
