Is mcafee slowing down my download speeds?

so i have mcafee and im currently downloading age of conan. the current download speed is about 150kb/s…my computer is way to amazing for that kind of slow download speed. i have also had issues with mcafee when downloading WoW it said that a firewall was blocking the download so im assuming thats the problem im having.
So is there anything i can do about this?
o ya and i have at&t for internet if that helps.
