I just bought a TOSHIBA Pentium Laptop, but all I have on it is the 60 day NORTON ANTIVIRUS, should I be ok, or is there a risk that I might have viruses and stuff already on it?? Should I have installed it, right when I first bought it. I t has been 2 weeks…

i believe that all computers come with a trial antivirus software already installed. i doubt youll have any virus, but you should just scan for viruses just to make sure

Install it now and run a comprehensive scan. That will pick up any unwanted virus's.

Do a scan and see if it detects something. Before trial is up you should probably subscribe to an antivirus software, such as norton or mcaffee.

just dont download like smiley central, or anything that can carry viruses.
my mom has a toshiba, and it got a virus (we still do not know why) and they sent it to the shop and it is ruined.
my mom's friends son has had the same problem.
but i dont think u should worry; you have the newer versoin.
