is rising antivirus made in japan and is it any good?

  Their site reports virus activity Dangerous
  Symantec reports it as Normal
  McAfee reports it as Elevated
  Kaspersky Reports it as normal
  so i think they are doing some phony business to get sales or something like that
  you can get avira antivir free which has high detection rates than AVg and Avast

  It's Chinese. From what I've heard, it looks good but offers little protection. Not tried it myself.

  I agree with Ricky B, Avira is a good free one.

  Never heard of "rising antivirus", and that's a sound reason for me not to consider is good. Time will show if it performs well.
  As of now, I'm pretty sure that ESET and Kaspersky are excellent at establishing PC security.
