I've been trying to renew my antivirus subscription but I cannot reach the mcafee website to do this. I think I may have a virus/spyware on my computer now… could that be blocking me from reaching the website or is the website just offline?
Yeah there's definitely something up… every link I follow brings be to some funky virus ridden pages like www.searchinspace.com/ahjsfhawerhaselhfrjl
and every tim I openp internet explorer I get an ad.
Last time I left the wife on the laptop…

Viruses can cause Blockages,Mcafee is rubbish,You should try Kaspersky 2009 it is the best one going.Mcafee slows down your pc as does Norton.

The Mcafee website is working fine as of 7:25 am central time 1/3/2009.
It definitely sounds like you have spyware adware issues.
