I tried to install the program Music Write 2000 Standard Edition from Voyetra, onto my laptop. However, it was not installing like it should, after i would press install, it would stop on this one screen and wouldn’t do anything. So, I canceled the installation. However, when I went to Add/Remove Programs, and searched for it, it said the program was installed. I didn’t want it on my computer, so I clicked on uninstall, and it said it had been uninstalled. However, when I went back, it still was listed under the programs that were installed. So I tried it again, and it said it was uninstalled. But it was still there. I even tried to restart the computer, and the program still showed up as installed on my computer. Is it installed or not? How can I get it off my computer since the Add/Remove Programs way didn’t work. Please help, thank you.
The program won’t show up under the seach, it only appears when I go to Control Panel/Uninstall a Program. Even though I click uninstall and then get a confirmation box that says it is installed, its still there. I tried Norton Registry Cleanup, but it still shows up.

Princess, The program is more then likely Uninstalled, yet the listing is remaining, Although this is annoying, It happens from time to time. Sometimes it won’t be gone (the listing) until you do some PC tuneups. Apparently the listing is a fragment that is not moving.. You would also like to check and make sure that the program didn’t install it’s own updater which would also be in Add/Remove Programs as well as your start-up menu.. These too will have to be removed and stopped.. Be patient with it and look real close and you will get rid of it.. Make sure to restart after these steps individually, Time consuming but more thorough.
Hope this Helps.. E-mail me if it stays stubborn.

Remove on Reboot Shell Extension is a simple but useful shell extension, that allows you to delete files automatically after the next reboot. This is useful if you need to delete a file that is currently in use (locked) and cannot be deleted from within Windows. Just right-click and select "Delete on Reboot" and the file will be automatically deleted
