Normally the 4 top AV programs don't like running alongside other AV programs, so I wouldn't recommend it no. One AV program, plus one online scanner should be more than enough to keep your computer clean.
Ergo just run McAfee, and once a week/month run Trend Housecall online AV scanner.

Yes, they can if you want.
However, unless you have a very modern computer it would not be advisable as McAfee and Spy Sweeper are both very resource intensive. Also, the extra protection SpySweeper offers is minimal.
I suggest you stick with McAfee Security Suite and use Malwarebytes Antimalware and Superantispyware as free on-demand scanners.
