As TC has said, there is the one free one from Clamx… But you don’t need it. There are no released MacOs X viruses. I did computer tech for 10 years, I ever had a Mac running MacOs X with a virus/malware/adware/spyware. There are 4 Mac trojans. To get one you have to be duped into going to certain websites, agree to download one, agree to install it and put in your admin password twice. There’s a fake Mac poker game, a fake Mac adware blocker, a fake Mac anti-virus, a fake Mac porn viewer. So the safest thing you can do is not try to find and download any free Mac anti-virus applications. Odds are you’ll get tricked into putting spyware (they are keyloggers) if you do.

If you are running OS X, go to http://www.clamxav.com, not because your Mac needs it, but because you should be a good netizen and not spread windows viruses to windows users. There has never been a virus in the wild for OS X yet — one or two trojan horses that would require you to violate numerous security safeguards built into the OS before it could do any damage maybe, but nothing serious yet. Given it’s unix foundation, OS X has proven to be fairly decent in regards to security of the administrator account but when it comes to security, better safe than sorry.

After searching google I found a website that removed my virus and helped fix the freezing up for good! The service was fast and real reasonably priced too! Here is the website I went to nicklockard
He also can refer you to a Mac user on Crossloop if he can’t fix your Mac issues.

I am not too sure about Mac, but I use adaware and spybot. Look them up and see if they work on mac.. Also cyberdefender.

About as close as you’ll get as far as I know is ClamXAV http://www.clamxav.com/ (I’ve tried and tried as far as I might!) and all the website itself claims is that it scans stuff to make sure you don’t pass on malware to your Windoze buddies. The website itself and each and every expert I’ve pressed and prodded STILL insist there’s no malware on MacOSX. I STILL find it hard to believe, but there it is, so far…I’m waiting and sceptical…sorry.
