…..
- Can be put in a flash drive (For scanning a different PC)
- And can be actually be updated with newer "virus definitions" while in that flash drive?
I'm needing something like this as this was very possible in the old days of MS-DOS, so is there still any anti-virus that can still be easily copied and updated by updated data files?
The antivirus can either be freeware of commercial software. Thanks. =)

Get Avira, when downloading it chose save and save it to the flash drive once the download and the transfer is complete.
open the flash drive, double click on the installing thingy, and install AVIRA when you did open it up from the flash drive and Update it. I do this too, i know what you want… I use this to scan my other old pc cause its very slow and i also helped a friend once.

Umm… portable programs can go on your flash drive without installation. And I THINK you can just copy/paste the virus definitions in, but I've never tried before so don't take my word on that.
Programs like Thinstalled can make your programs portable.
