my sister has recently bought a new laptop and would love to activate it. but the truth is, there's no network connectivity in our house and we couldn't really activate it at all. so is there another way of activate windows xp (not through modem, phone or internet)?

There's probably an 800 number somewhere. But why not take it to a Starbucks or similar spot that has free wi-fi?

Select 'phone' activation. Email the activation information to someone who has a phone. They can then call Microsoft and get the reply information. They'll email it to you, and you can enter it in. Easy as that.
