Is there any download,on the net, that DOES NOT charge to remove spyware? Most scan 4 free but charge 2 remove

  Yep, here is a great scan from Microsoft. You can also do a full service scan which will clean up your PC's technical stuff abit.

  However, it's not a downloadable, it does a free online scan (and removal if nessicary) and you can use it as much as you want but the downloadable has only a 90 day trial.

  I use adaware personal, and ccleaner. Both are free to download, free to remove, and were recommended by my IT department.

  go to http://www.download.com its a site by CNET. you can download ad-aware for free and install it. it will remove most spyware. some spyware is difficult to remove and you might have to restore your system/reinstall windows.

  most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

  i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

  besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
