Is there any thing such as fake antivirus scans,?

I have this one that keeps popping up telling me to start scan, but I already have one that is on, it sometimes restarts my computer.
thank you, yeah this one is called antivirus 2009
thank you guys, the malware one from the bleepingcomputer worked. I have someone from an another ip address trying to steal my stuff as well, I have the ip address cause they tried to steal a password from a website I went to, will that help also?

      yer, theres alot out there…one that springs to mind is WinAntivirus Pro. To remove them:
      Go to http://www.kaspersky.com and get a trial of kaspersky antivirus. Update it, and then run a full system scan. Then google 'a-squared free', update it, and run a full scan.
      If your still infected (which is pretty unlikely), then google 'SUPERantispyware'

      Yes. Your computer is badly infected with that Antivirus 2009 crap.
