i have avg and love it i have always used it and i was wondering if there is any better than avg the new avg finds at least 100 spyware or warnings and 1 virus on my computer each week!! is there any you find better i don’t really like avast and if you say Norton you are a idiot i will never put that program on my pc ever Again I HATE NORTON! omg you have no idea so yeah please tell me what you think and if you have a good answer you get easy 10 points!!!!

well i used to get that much spyware but now i turned on the blocker thingy so i don't now.

That means there is spyware or viruses on your computer. Get rid of it and don’t just treat it like crap and ignore it. Unless you want your PC ruined and your identity stolen.

In the paid for versions, Eset and Kaspersky are probably at the top. Most antimalware forums use them as a final check when cleaning infections off of computers. That’s not to say they are perfect, as no one program will catch it all.
As for freebies, I’d say Avast, AVG and Antivir are all about the same. They catch some and miss some.
I would be a little concerned if you are finding that much each week, as that would indicate it’s getting through your antivirus. You really would want to stop it from entering in the first place. It would also appear that the antispyware portion of AVG (if you have the newest version) is also letting you down.
If they are being detected after the fact, at least you can get some comfort that AVG is updating their file defintions and adding new detections.
