I’m a Gulf War vet. I’m disable and unable to work, so I get SSI and a Veteran Disability check. Will this bailout result in a smaller check for me?

w/o knowing precisely the effects, my guess is your current entitlements won’t change. The question then becomes, will a gallon of milk cost $70?
Inflation is when the government cannot deliver on its promises. Americans are used to inflation and tolerate it and anticipate cashing in on inflation for their retirement income.

No the amount will stay the same. It just wont be able to buy as much. So the value of the money will be less.

Along with the $700 billion in bailouts they have already done and intend to finance by printing more dollars out of thin air, it will devalue the dollars you get so they buy much less. Hyperinflation is the problem here, and they are ignoring it to prop up the housing bubble which is going to pop in any event. They are making it much worse.
Call your reps and tell them No bail out no way no how, and make it clear the new 'deal' in no way changes your mind. (They are going to say 'oh, it is so much better now!')
I don't want to scare you, but now may be the only opportunity to stop something that WILL impact you. It is going to be bad with or without the bill, but the hyperinflation will be MUCH worse with the bill and the bailout, per Ron Paul will cause a ten year severe down turn instead of a one year severe downturn, if it goes through. Since he is the only one who has been predicting this for years, and fighting it, he is the one I listen to now.
