Okay I have asked a similar question just a few days regarding my security programs. Currently I have:
-AVG [only the anti-virus program, not the internet security whatever]
-COMODO FIREWALL
-Spybot Search and Destroy.
One of the answers in my last question that COMODO and NOD32 go well together. But I want to change my anti-virus program into AVG, because I am not getting the protection that I really need.
Do AVG and COMODO firewall go well together along with Spybot Search and Destroy?
@ Carrie's My Woman:
Hehe… You have a point there. If ever I do not get the results I wanted, maybe I'll switch back to NOD32.

WOW!! you went from nod 32 to AVG?? that is like going from Beverly Hills to south central, avg stinks, it has a lousy detection rate. nod 32 is maybe the best you can buy commercially. comodo however is excellent,. i use it and love it. there is no reason why it would not go good with nod 32 they do different tings entirely, consider going back is my advice.
and yes those three should go together fine, they do different things completely.

I dont know about the other ones, but what you can do is change the settings in commodo to allow the other progs to work simultaneously
I think thats a good combo

Your combination is fine.
Security is a three tier affair, one firewall, one anti-virus and as much adware/spyware removal software as you feel needed?
So if your happy with just one spyware, malware for protection ok. But I would recommend adding one more…
