I bought Toshiba Satellite A305 Laptop from USA ,they gave windows vista home but it didn't support some many s/w ,so i try to install Windows XP , i contact toomay shops but they teling need to get drivers .pls pls hepl in this ,icouldnot do any thing except excel work in this…..

they are right you probably wont be able to find the drivers for your new hardware for old XP even spk3 might not have them and toshibas website might not have it for xp
so before you downgrade make sure you have drivers available
rip a disk with video drivers, networkcard , soundcard and dialup modem if you use that
these should be but not guareenteed to be on their website ot check with manufactuire of hardware (example if its a 3com nic and its not on toshibas website for xp goto 3coms website see if they have the drivers)
or just keep vista and be happy or linux and really see what it can do
also contact toshiba or store where ever the warranty is from and see if they will support you with a different os on the unit
(hp / compaq does not)
