Is windows vista home premium any good?

I currently have an acer with 2 300 GB internal hard drives, intel 2*quad processor “not quad core” and 500 mb *shared video, with windows vista home premium on it, what is thebest operating system for me?

      Yeah Windows Vista Home Premium is awesome, I am using it right now :)

      You will need the 64 bit version for that computer.

      Vista Home Premium does well enough for me on my laptop which I have to use for work.

      However on my Home PC I will use nothing but Linux.
