Three months before my last subscription of McAfee security suite was supposed to expire, I got a warning 'your computer is not protected'.Turns out something was wrong with the protection for my computer & files, email & IM,and every time I tried to fix said problems,it kept telling me to reinstall the entire security suite.I didn't have the money to renew the subscription at the time, and it WAS expiring in 3 months anyway,so I waited until I did. When I bought the newest subscription,I installed it,but it did NOT fix the existing problems I had been having. It still says 'your computer is not protected' and every time it tries to update of fix the problem,I get the same old message 'Update error-an error occurred while updating. Please reinstall 3-user McAfee internet security suite'.I've reinstalled the damn thing 4 times, and every time it does the same thing, and the same problems are there.Would the problems be fixed if I REMOVED McAfee from my comp and installed it again?

well its to bad you waited till you resubscribed cause that doesn't change anything other then being out your money. anti-viruses update automatically so you always have the latest version. problem here is macafee and norton are horrible. the two top dogs are NOD32 and Kaspersky which NOD32 i can say i find to be great the other i haven't used.

McAfee is really a bad software
i recommend Kaspersky 6.0 OR 7.0
E-Mail me on tardelli_1982@yahoo.com
for Kaspersky 6.0 and a key expires on 2011

I don't recommend NOD32 because it might be complected to use
Kaspersky is really simple and effective
