Every time I open iTunes, I get this message before it's open:
The file "iTunes Library.itl" does not appear to be a valid iTunes library file. iTunes has attempted to recover your iTunes library and renamed this file to "iTunes Library (Damaged) 13.itl"
I don't understand. When it opens, it is analyzing every song. It says Determining Gapless Playback Information.
I don't get it!

your library file which stores informatoion about every music file you have has become corrupted and it has had to start building a new on from scratch.
if you have selected gapless playing or sound check in either the files or the prefernces menu then itunes must SCAN every file on your disk to get the information it needs to input correction factors for each song into the new library.
Files get corrupted! its a matter of life but the itunes library file contains huge amounts of information (no times payed, sound level, gaps at beginning and end of track, artwork, rating, dates, BPM etc) so rebuilding one with a 1000 songs can take a while but you can play while its doing this

This sort of technical error could be due to itunes not fully installing a single file during installaion. I have encountered this problem before, and have solved it by re-installing itunes.
first uninstall itunes, by going to add/removing programs from the control panel.
then if you installed via disc, re install as you did the first time.
if you installed via downloaded drivers, locate where you saved the drivers and re install them.
if the problem continues i have had to in the past down load a new copy of drivers from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Good luck.

try deleting itunes and reinstalling it. that should clear the problem up. if it doesnt then i would reccommend that you go to apple's itunes troubleshooting.
