I ve recently upgraded my computer but kept the old hard disk c. Part of this upgrade was the new operating system Vista. ever since this ive been getting updates from vista that I have to download. Because of this I am running out of disk space. I went to pc world to get a bigger hard disk. and asked the best way to copy vista and nero over. they said you cannot copy vista and nero over. something to do with the program will not work properly if transferred to another disk. Is this true. And does anyone know how to defeat this obstacle because I do not fancy buying another computer including Vista and nero software.

Just install new hard drive
If your original hard drive and CD are on the same cable
Insert new hard drive using another ribbon cable into 2nd plug ensure the stripe siide goes to No1 pin and the stripe goes next to the 4 pin power plug on hard drive
this way its no worry about rego etc.
