McAfee, but I would not recommend. When ever my subscription expires my computer stops working right until I renew. It does not stop working right because it has any virus, but because something in the program messes up your computer to force you to renew. Pretty shady…

Use Ubuntu linux one of the most secure operating systems out there. There is no reason to use anti virus software or spyware software.

Chris: on my windows laptop I use AVG Free antivirus (but I rarely use that laptop).
On my macbook, just the built in firewall. I also have a firewall built into my linksys router.
I have a linux workstation which I use for most of my browsing and email. I have a firewall enabled on it.
I use mozilla browsers (firefox, camino)

My best antivirus is my mind. I avoid potentially dangerous websites.
The core principal of my PC security is two XP installed on different partitions. This way I switch from XP1 to XP2 from time to time.
Each XP has different set of security software. Avast, Spyware Doctor and built-in firewall protect first XP, and Avira, Ad-aware, Zone Alarm Firewall take care of the second. I extensively use online scanners as well. No P2P.
To add, I host avast! and XoftSpy on a U3 device.
