Kaspersky 2009 Question?

I open the program file with winRAR, No virus detected, then I scan it from WinRAR and nothing is detected but then I drag it to the desktop and now its malicious software. I need to delete it. It says unable to delete that gives me a heart attack, I restart the computer and it works good as new. I don’t get this, it has happened 4 times already with different downloads… I use Kaspersky 2009.
