I am planning on upgrading to Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit from Windows XP Home Edition 32-bit, and I want to wipe everything on my hard drive. Now will I be able to download the trial version of Kaspersky again and use the same activation key as I did in the last one?
Sorry I don't think I was being clear enough. I currently have the full version of Kaspersky 2009. Its on the 1 year plan.

If it's the same hardware, I think you may be out of luck. But think it over — unless you are really, really sold on Kaspersky (in which case you should buy the full version) you can get fully functional security programs for free and not have to worry about licensing issues like this one. Think about it.

If the activation key is the same version as the trial version. You can't put a key from a 7.0 to an 8.0 version of Kaspersky, because it would reject it.
