Kaspersky AV cant delete the my virus in USB Drive!!?

I have just installed 30 days trial period Kaspersky AV and its the first hour of its installation and it has detected the virus in my USB drive. It says disinfection is not possible because of write protected and i dont know how to remove this write protection. The files are of no need so when i click the DELETE option it just can do it and the system threat keeps on coming back!! Any idea would be appreciated!
