Ok so after i run a full scan on my computer it comes up and says i have 8 vulnerabilities detected on my laptop. What exactly does this mean??? I am very confused, does kaspersky delete these or fix them, or do i have to do it manually? Also it gives me the option to Quarantine them, what does that mean?? I dont think its a virus but this whole program is confusing to me, if anyone could help that would be great. Thanks

Accept the option to Quarantine. This will move the infected files to a secure area where they cannot effect (or infect) anything else on your machine, but in contrast to deleting them immediately, it gives you time to see whether they were important system files that cannot simply be removed - and if so, you will have the option to try to heal them at a later date.
Edit to add:
Ooops! Would help if I read the question properly. I see you're referring to vulnerabilities being detected, not threats. In that case you should probably read this, as it explains it far better than I could: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=68831&st=0&p=633369entry633369
Basically it's notifying you of potential security weaknesses in your system, not actual infections. It will let you choose what, if anything, to do about them - and offer you the option to ignore them in future scans, if that's your preferred choice.
