Ok so after i run a full scan on my computer it comes up and says i have 8 vulnerabilities detected on my laptop. What exactly does this mean??? I am very confused, does kaspersky delete these or fix them, or do i have to do it manually? Also it gives me the option to Quarantine them, what does that mean?? I dont think its a virus but this whole program is confusing to me, if anyone could help that would be great. Thanks

The best place for help would be the Kaspersky forum would it not?

However, I use KIS2009 and the vulnerabilities are advisory, in that they let you know about discovered holes in the security of the application. You can choose to go to the vendor's site and look for updates to patch these vulnerabilities…
This is a good, if confusing feature. It lets you know about programs you have installed which may be vulnerable to hackers. You can, of course, ignore these notifications but I think that the more information you have, the better…
