Kaspersky Internet Security 2009..confused?

What do I do when Kaspersky alerts me it has detected a virus but it was denied. I get it every time I open the aol page and I dont know why. What do I do or do I need to do anything? Does Kaspersky get rid of it automatically? I dont know how to use it yet..A few tips would be great..
