I am currently using Firefox 3.01.14. Is there any compatibility issues with Firefox 3.5 and Kaspersky IS 2010? When I used Norton IS 2010 there were a few issues with Firefox 3.5. I just want to know if I should stay with my current Firefox or update to the newest version, 3.5?

As far as usual functionality of Firefox 3.5 goes, it works fine. Two exceptions I have personally noticed:
* If the Web-Antivirus component is activated, YouTube will practically stop working. Pages will load slowly if at all, and most of the time videos won’t stream. Kaspersky are reluctant to acknowledge this. There are several solutions: you can either deactivate the Web-AV component of KIS if you want to browse YouTube, you can leave it activated and just use a different browser for YouTube (IE7, IE8, Opera 9, Opera 10, Safari all work fine with me) - or you can just reload every YouTube page/video 10, 20 or 50 times until it will load…
* Many automatic updates to Firefox or its plugins will fail to install. Kaspersky Labs have acknowledged this bug and are supposedly working on a fix, although they’ve got hundreds of other, more severe bugs to fix in the disaster that is KIS 2010, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up. Firefox will notify you if an updated failed to install. Quit Firefox, disable KIS, restart Firefox, when it’s running activate KIS again.
While I personally had no problems with KIS 2009, KIS 2010 is a very buggy suite. Crashes, undefined behaviour, slowdowns, system freezes - the support boards are burning. But from experience, all other suites are even worse. I think an anti-virus/-malware component is a good idea, but as far as software firewalls etc. are concerned, they usually just give you a feeling of security while actually making your system *more* vulnerable, so you’d do better without any at all. If you want to have an AV protection, just use KIS 2010 and deactivate all the other modules, and you should be fine.
