Hi,
I recently installed Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010 trail version on my P.C
When I ran a full scan it found a Trojan that I thought was gone months ago…(McAfee found it and quarantined it so I deleted it) I know its a Trojan from a windowblinds keygen i obtained (please spare the lectures i know how stupid i am!)
My questions are
1.Once Kaspersky finds a trojan does it get deleted or will this Parasite try and hide again?
2.Can the Trojan infect External HDs/USBs?
3.How can i be sure its gone and my system is clean of threats?
top answer will be chosen thanks for your time.

Here are my answers based on your questions:
1. Kaspersky is a powerful antivirus and it will (or at least it should) delete whatever parasite it finds.
2. It is possible for trojans to infect external HDs and USBs, but it doesn’t happen very often, unless its a worm, then it does happen often.
3. I would need more details for that, please join me on http://www.malwaresucks.webs.com and I can help you on the live forums.
