Laptop has issues after renewing McAfee. Please help!?

February 14th, 2009 · 1 Comment

Before installing McAfee (my subscription expired a few weeks ago), my laptop seemed healthy, e.g. there no problems. But I finally renewed my license yesterday and now my laptop is struggling with 1) pop ups, 2) a RUNDLL error at start-up (eobrsjlr), and 3) I can't use or get automatic updates.

I've tried scanning my computer with McAfee and SE Adware several times. And I tried installing the latest updates manually from Microsoft.com. Microsoft will check my laptop but then it will not allow me to download anything.

Please help!

This means that MacAfee with the updated version isn't all the way compatible with it.
DO a system restore and avoid doing the update. The MacAfee screwed up your system and now you have to do time-traveling in order to bring it back to normal.

This happens all the time to a lot of different people.
