Alright, this morning i wake up, and turn on my laptop like always, it turns on and it gets to the windows XP loading screen and after about 2-3 seconds a blue screen flashes and the laptop turns off less than a second later, no matter how i try to boot it it does this, doesnt give enough time to read the blue screen either. The laptop was plugged into a surge protector, and it did not storm, additionally everything else that was plugged into the protector works fine.
I do not have the XP disk, or the restore disks(i prefer not to lose the HD data anyways)
it is possible for me to get an XP disk if NEEDED but i want to know if theres another way to work around it.
I have tried Safe mode, and last working, PLUS normally, the only two i have not tried are with networking and command prompt, as i thought these would be pointless.
when trying to boot in safe or with networking etc, it starts to load drivers and stops at agpCPQ.sys then flashes the blue screen.

When you say, "no matter how i try to boot," have you tried safe mode? (F8 when the windows screen is loading)
