ok…I have a friend who was using her Gateway laptop and her screen turns blank… it turns white. She sent it to the company and they tell her its fixed. It was fine but the same problem occurs. She sent it 3 times and they keep on telling her its fixed. I dont know how to fix the problem. Anyone know how to fix it?

Seriously, if you sent it back 3 times, then it probably isn’t going to be fixed.
I would demand a replacement laptop or at least have them replace the monitor.

i think it is virus problem. first update your antivirus. i recommend symantec or avg. then u so full scan. if no viruses get then your laptop is ready. even after doing this u get that black and white screens u take back up and format the drives. if it still did’nt work then u have backup will not help viruses are almost immune u should reinstall os by formatting all the drives and u should do it such away that it is new laptop. then after be careful every time u put pen drives or any other removable hard drives u should scan and then use it. i had the same problem trust me……
