Can you gve me any legal advice (Colorado) or link to any information about a sewer backup that caused by unit to flood and now my Condo Association will do nothing about? It is Condo that the sewer system is linked to 5 units. Any info would help. A rag went down my neighbors sewer line causing a backup into my unit. Causing over $3000 in damage. The Condo Association Insurance company denied my claim. Pretty much the unit owner is responsible for interior maintenance, but the problem occurred outside my walls in common ground.
LOL- How about them Chargers
I already tried making a claim with the insurance company. Read Above

I know the exact answer to your question. But, I’m not going to tell you, because you’re a Bronco’s fan.
Hey, how about them Chiefs, anyway?

Submit the claim with your homeowners insurance. Then your insurance company will fight with the Assoc. This way your damage is repaired and you do not get a headache trying to deal with the problem

If you have ANY solid evidence that the damages were caused by another owner in the condominium group, you CAN take that person to court in an effort to recover damages. It won’t be an easy or simple case.
However, your only options are to pursue this in a court, or swallow the losses on your own. It appears that your insurer isn’t going to swallow the loss.
