I have a Mac Book and I really like it. But I'm going to community college in the fall and all the computers on campus are PC's. How will I be able to take notes and write papers on a PC and transfer those Microsoft word documents to my Mac and vise versa? Or should I just get a PC?
I have a flash drive but I need to know how to transfer the documents between the two. I have Boot camp on my Mac but I don't know how to use it, and also Im afraid that putting Microsoft on my Mac would leave it open to viruses. Any advice? Thanks.

I use PCs and Macs all of the time. My advice to you is: use a flash drive for transferring files. On a PC use Microsoft Word for notes and papers. Just get used to using it.
edit: All you have to do to transfer files is copy files to the flash drive and then replace the old files with the new ones. DO NOT put Windows on your Mac. You would only be wasting your time and opening your computer up to the thousands of malicious programs out there that infect windows.
