Please read details and help a girl out lol!
I got this error whenever I boot up
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with
a status of 0×00000001 (0×00000000 0×00000000).
The system has been shut down
So doing some research I got my hands on a Windows XP Recovery disk. I went home last night popped it in and let it run. It said "press any key to boot from cd' so I did, then it goes to the Windows XP Screen and the line that goes across to show it's loading goes very slow. Then the error comes up again. I tried hitting "R" to repair, and nothing still the same blue screen with that error eventually comes up. Can't get into safe mode either. What do I freakin do? Am I forced to call the geek squad in or take it to a place to get it fixed. I am not very computer saavy so if you can answer me in simple terms lol
I just want my internet back, I am at work now. Thanks bunches!

I'm a bit concerned when you say you got your hands on a recovery disk. Recovery disks are typically made by the computer manufacturer and are designed to return the computer back to it's original factory specs. If your recovery disk was made for a Dell but you're trying to use it on a Gateway it could cause more harm than good.
The disk includes drivers and other software specific to that one computer it came with. Many times a recovery disk for computer "A" will not work on computer "B" even though both computers are the same make and model. That's because computer "B" might have a different processor, memory, etc.
But if your recovery disk came with that specific computer, I'd suggest you try a Repair Install. (Or borrow someone's XP install CD if it's the wrong recovery disk.) This website gives specific instructions and screen shots of what you should see. I selected XP Pro but the steps are the same for XP Home.

Two things to be aware of:
1. On the 4th screen shot - heed the warning and do NOT press "R" for Repair
2. Twice during the repair process the screen will prompt you to press any key to continue. Again, heed the warning and do NOT press any key.
You can also look through this article by Fred Langa (a recognized XP expert) for his take on a Repair Install.

Do you have a Toshiba? Toshiba’s don’t normally come with boot up disks. I’m abit worried when you said “I got my hands on a reboot disk”, its like putting a laptop into a microwave. Anyway, if you can possibly buy or borrow a installation disk for your computer it might fix the problem, unless your hardrive may be physically broken.
