May I use Norton 360 while still using McAfee Security Suite?

November 17th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I recently bought Norton 360 for my laptop. The price was for free after rebates. I have McAfee on my desktop but Norton will allow me to install 360 on my desktop too.

Will this slow down my computer having two kinds of security? Are there any problem that I might run into? Will the two systems conflict?

Thanks……..

Yes, both will conflict with each other. Your also setting up an awfull lot of hassle with regards to firewalls etc. Besides there are no advanteges to having two individual security suites

Either one of them alone will bog down your system, and together I can’t imagine the snailpace you’d get.
Dump them both and get either Avast or AVG (just one); both free.
