A heart shaped, red ballon icon appeared in my tool bar. It warned me that my microsoft update program to update security programs was turned off. I tried to turn it on, but it would not let me. I do not know what I clicked on, but it the update thing appeared and it said it was on and it updates at 3:00 am everyday. However,the icon is still in my tool bar.
Also, my mcafee scan my computer and it detected something probably a virus. It usually removes them, but now it does not because it scans for hours. I would like the program to remove this detected thing as soon as possible. What can I do? I do not want my computer to crash! I put too much money in it. My labtop is a dell inspiron 130B, windows XP. Any solutions are welcome, but I need to solve this problem.
I have also noticed that when I began to used ATT High speed internet, my mcfee would not tell me if it was updating. I suspect it is not updating anymore.
