Just uninstall the mcaffee! Its pointless to run it if your going to visit these infested, malware ridden sites to begin with.

Your McAfee Software alongside acting as an antivirus software also acts as a firewall.

A firewall stops or restricts applications on your PC from interacting with the internet vice versa, but user discretion is allowed, that is where the pop up menu comes up to ask you whether to allow the application interact with the internet or not.

A word of advice, I would recommend that you stop using limewire it brings viruses to your PC, if you insist on running limewire which is a peer 2 peer application use a SAND BOXIE application. A SAND BOXIE application which you can Google up and buy online is memory intensive and what it does is it runs as a Virtual Machine on your operating system thence containing any viruses from interacting with the actual operating system.

Or next time you want to run limewire, deactivate your McAfee first before running it, but I still advise limewire is bad for your PC. Viruses!
