I'm trying to download McAfee on my computer right now. I'm a comcast customer, so I can download it free, if that has anything to do with it. I started the installer after saving the file from the website, it (the installer box/window) said something and showed a small progress bar for a moment, then the box went blank. The border for the McAfee box is still there, still says "McAfee Installer" at the top (it doesn't say if it's not responding), and when I run my cursor over the box, the hourglass appears next to it, but disappears, and repeats, but I don't even know if it's working. I don't have the strongest connection on this computer, but I can websurf without problems, watch video streams and all that in a relatively quick amount of time, so McAfee Installer shouldn't be having a problem. I even uninstalled Trend Micro PC-Cillin after a while of waiting to see if that's what was causing a problem and since it has to uninstall my antivirus software before I can install it anyway. Didn't work. Anybody know what I can do?
