McAfee Personal Firewall Verification?

I have just installed the new McAfee Personal Firewall Plus (I can’t remember what the version is) and when I click “Verify” to verify my subscription, Internet Explorer pops up with a load of code at the top of the page that looks something like HTML or something like that. Could anyone help me quickly with this?
