i downloaded mcafee from a dell disc that came with my pc. i just received an email saying i have to renew it. what does this mean? and what if i dont renew it?
if i bought the actual mcafee disc would i have to deal with these subscriptions. because i notice i have to pay for these renewals.

You probably had the 30 day free trial. Now you gotta pay for any updates…or your subscription that came with ended. Same result.
So you need to either renew or remove McAfee and install another type antivirus program.

This WILL really keep ANNOYING you until you renew… mine keeps popping up constantly. I don't think you have to renew it but any back ups you made with it you wont be able to retrieve.
