I have windows XP. I installed McAfee virus protection from the comcast website, as I use their services. For awhile, it was perfect. Now, it keeps on saying I’m not protected, and prompts me to click the "Fix" button. I did, and it comes up and says "One or more problems requires your response." Conveniently, it doesn’t mention what those problems are. However, it also says "your subscription is not verified. Click here to verify it now." I click to verify my subscription, and a box comes up and says "your subscription has been verified. And then I click "fix" again and then same thing happens. What is wrong?

My computer is a PC and I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I also am a comcast customer and used McAfee- things were fine for a while and then I started with the same trouble as you describe. I ended up after months of messing with it (and I was getting infected left and right, too)- I resorted to purchasing another security software program, which I HATED to do cuz we get the McAfee for free but it just wasn’t working. I ended up paying for Kaspersky Internet Security but it made all the difference. I am doubting the quality/compatability issues with McAfee’s product to us. I had so much trouble and it all cost me a fortune. I hope you have better luck but I just want to warn you about what after months of trouble I had to do. It worked though!!
