micro trend antivirus found a virus ten minutes after I did a scan
i think it was malware or trojan?
so when they told me to delete a file named a@x10[1].htm
i never heard of this kind of file??
How the heck was I supposed to know where it was located
my friend recommended I download Avira Anti Vir
so i uninstalled micro trend antivirus
was that a good idea?
because when i had redone the scan on micro trend
they didn't find a virus?
and i hadn't done anything
my internet was still going slow
i searched y/a
and found out another protection called Malwarebyte Anti-walware
is that good
Is avira anti vir free good?
is malwarebyte anti malware good?
should i have both open?
how do i found out if i still have the trojan?
thank you

first get norton internet security 360 and second the program has found alot of supposable stuff for me too but then norton says nothing and i havent had any problems with norton so i say its just a faulty virus scanner.

Running more than one is probably not a good idea. I use OneCare by Microsoft and it works pretty good.

malwarebyte anti malware does not sound good AT ALL! I recommend you to download Avast!:

It's a free antivirus program. And it's very good. I also recommend you to do some online virus scans:

Be careful. Do you know anything about all these "anti virus" products you're downloading? Some of them are scams, viruses or just hoaxes. Use something reputable. The only free one that I would trust is AVG (see below), but there are others. Just make sure someone you know has worked with it.
Having more than one at a time will slow your computer down, big time.
I personally prefer to use Norton, but it's a bit expensive. I think it's the best.
