microsoft office home and student 2007 trial version wont uninstall in vista?

Hi,
I'm trying to free up some space on my pc by removing programs I don't need from add/remove programs in visa. When i click uninstall the egg timer comes for a couple of seconds but then disappears without starting the uninstall process. Can anyone help me remove this program please because I don't need it.

Never had any problem uninstalling Office and I'm running Vista. Try a System Restore - to set your computer back to before you installed it and it will be gone
