Microsoft update is outdated, messing up my computer, wont install, cant uninstall help!!!!?

Just installed my latest update and it was .NET framework 2.0 service pack 2. I didnt realize this until after I installed. I actually have 3.0 framework SP2 and 3.5 SP1. I also have SP3. After a unsuccessful install of the update after turning off my computer, i shut down during the install. On my next reboot i got an error like something captioned cant remember. Next reboot it decides to tell me there was a problem loading my personal settings. Everything is defaulted. And i cant uninstall. I went to Add/Remove programs and tried removing .NET framework 2.0 SP2, but i cant even tho i have .NET 3.0 SP2 because it would make certain applications fail or something. How can I uninstall .NET 2.0 SP2?
