I added some files to my computer from a friends computer the other day and now I have this ridiculous Mirar toolbar.
Now my TrendMicro AntiVirus/AntiSpyware program is screwed up, and won’t run properly.
I tried this site’s instrutions on how to remove the toolbar manually, but my computer doesn’t find any of the Mirar files/processes/DLLS.

I can CLEARLY see this horrible toolbar on my screen and I’m sure I’m looking for the files properly.
What gives? Can anyone help me get rid of this thing?

This is a browser hijacker and it is giving you all the pop ups, first thing you need to do is go to add/remove in your control panel and look for Mirar and uninstall it. Next download the free version of Spyware Doctor http://www.download.com/Spyware-Doctor-S… install it but dont run it yet. Then go to Start and in “run” type msconfig. Click on the last tab and look for Mirar if it is in there uncheck it, these are all programs that start up when you reboot you computer. Hit apply and then ok and it will ask you if you want to restart your computer hit yes. When you come back online do a full system scan and you will want to quarantine or delete Mirar. Run the scan twice, then reboot again.

Download, install, update and select Full Scan.
Remove all infections that it finds after scan.
