It's a component file of MyWebSearch. Re-install it from http://search.mywebsearch.com/mywebsearch/default.jhtml
or, remove it completely :

I have exactly the same mistake, but it did not reset and not removed for some reason. When you remove writes to repeat or go and when you reinstall the same … but it has nothing to do with winamp? can reinstall it and remove the checkmark in the “install mywebseach”?

To get rid of it you have to go into “regedit”, carefully. You will find it in software files, I believe. It will be in “MyFunWeb” or something of that nature. You will see it when you expand the folder. Delete it. If you have any hesitancy about editing your registry - don’t. Get someone to walk you through it. But I guarantee you’ll find it there. Don’t waste your money on software or downloading promises to get rid of this or you’ll wind up with a virus or other malware.

I found it in hidden files but not sure what to do with it. I really don’t want to mess my computer up and I know people do that by taking things off or puting them on. It’s kind of freaky if you think about it.

open up ‘Run’ type in regedit. look for a folder called HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. under this folder select ‘SOFTWARE’ then go to ‘mywebsearch’ folder and select ‘bar’. you should find it in there.

Look… dont take any of these guys’ advice, because i have tried every single solutions on the internet and none of them work!
Go on google and type in CCleaner install the free version and run it. click on registry on the left pane then scan for issues you will have a load of issues being detected. click ‘fix selected issues’. restart your computer and see the results.
I had the same problem and almost spent on Regcure, but luckily my friend recommended me CCleaner and now my laptop is working fine.
Good Luck.

By far the easiest way to replace this dll is to D/Load Cc cleaner (it’s free). Just follow instructions in left pane (Registry).
This annoyance cropped up after I had run Malwarebytes - an excellent programme but it deleted the MyWebs. dll!!

I had this same problem, the error message m3plugin.dll one and I used the ccleaner, I downloaded a free copy, and after the first reboot the message was gone. I still have another error message (The whole reason I started messing with my computer was to get the “error access denied windows 32…” message gone, well after followng the steps to take care of it, nothing worked, and I ended up with a new message, but the ccleaner took care of the new one. 1 down, 1 to go!
