“moved file is bigger than archive size limit” AVG, what do I do?

September 19th, 2008 · 1 Comment

So I ran a computer scan with AVG free 8.0, and there were two trojans found. So when I said, “remove all unhealed infections” it told me that “moved file is bigger than archive size limit”. What do I do, I just want to get rid of them?

The virus is contained in a winRAR file, so it is .rar. I acquired the trojan when I was downloading something using Bittorrent. What do you think I should do?
The .rar file is located on my desktop, Can I just put it in the recycle bin or what?

The file size is around 650MB

My guess is that AVG is trying to remove the virus from within the RAR file. Just delete the entire RAR file manually, then empty the recycle bin.
